Our Story
What does "Après" mean?
"Après" is a French word, meaning after.
Our name is inspired by the journey of owner & chef, Jenn, her love of pastries and a big career change to become a pastry chef. Going back to school, working in Paris, and gaining experience in the Chicago-area all lead to the opening of Après Pastry & Bakery in May 2024.
We invite you to enjoy Après breakfast pastries after you wake up in the morning, sweet treats after a meal, or a tasty bite after anything at all as you go about your day.

We take great care in selecting what goes into our pastries, breads, cakes and beverages. Everything is made here, fresh each day.
